- “Library” refers to a third-party library/study space that lists seats/plans and provides on-ground facilities.
- “User”, “you” refers to any person using the Service, including Students, Staff, and Owners.
- “Booking/Subscription” refers to a seat/locker plan purchase or reservation created through the Service.
2. Eligibility & Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and activity under your account.
- If you suspect unauthorized use, contact us immediately via the Contact page.
BookMyLib is a platform that helps Users discover, compare, and book plans. Libraries are responsible for their on-ground operations, facilities, availability, rules, staff conduct, and compliance obligations. To the extent permitted by law, BookMyLib is not responsible for events that occur at the Library premises.
4. Bookings, Plans, and Library Rules
- Plan details (pricing, duration, amenities) are provided by Libraries and may vary by branch.
- Library rules (timings, seat/locker use, entry restrictions, behavior policies) may apply to your use of the premises.
- You agree not to misuse seats/lockers, share access improperly, or violate Library policies.
5. Payments
- Payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways. Gateway availability and processing times may vary.
- You authorize us (and/or our payment partners) to charge the payment method you provide for your purchase.
- Taxes, gateway fees, or convenience fees (if applicable) may be added and shown at checkout.
6. Refunds, Cancellations, and Disputes
Refund and cancellation decisions may depend on the plan type, consumption/usage, verification of your request, and Library policy. To request a refund or cancellation, submit a request via our Refund page.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes.
- Attempt to bypass security controls, access other accounts, or scrape data.
- Upload malware or disrupt the Service.
- Misrepresent identity or affiliation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookMyLib will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or a Library’s on-ground services.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold BookMyLib harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of rights.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in New Delhi shall have jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
